"The H2 Oh Baby! Pool kit is absolutely awesome. The pool was really comfortable, an ideal height and water depth which let me get really close to the mother. These comforts help the mother relax contributing to a smooth progression in labour, giving the mother, baby and midwife a satisfying outcome."

"...after having already tried a traditional birthing pool I was rapt with my experience usingthe H2 Oh Baby! Pool and kit. It was very roomy, the sides provided fantastic support and the padded floor was comfy no matter what position I was in. Even my midwife raved about it"

"It was great to be able to get the H2 Oh Baby! pool as soon as we wanted it. As we were juggling uncertain due dates, knowing that we didn't have to return the pool by a given date was so good. Running our own business along with our four other children seemed enough of a challenge!"

"I absolutely loved the H2OhBaby Pool! I laboured at home for 3 days before electing to birth by caesarean. Initially, I wasn't going to use the pool, I thought my bathtub would suit the purpose well enough as I didn't intend on having a waterbirth. However, my birth attendent convinced me to have it handy just in case. When we got it home, we quickly set it up and noticed there was a split in the bottom, and therefore leaked water. Carla was great about getting us another one. The pool was the perfect size for floating and relaxing during and in-between contractions. I loved being able to have my kids in with me at different times as well. It made them enjoy the "experience", plus, they will be enjoying the pool this summer! The pool is amazing whether you want a water-bith or drug-free pain relief!"

"Saved the best kind of birth experience for last I wish I had had a water birth for all four kids! The water sloshing smoothly over and relaxing supported on the soft comfy sides of the pool made the difference from a 20hr labour with number 3 to an 8hr labour with number 4.
I found birthing in these pools the most relaxing, enjoyable and empowering experience. The 3 kids had a blast swimming in the pool in the lounge on our false labor fill (don't want to waste water) and all fitted no problem. The kit came in a convenient bag with everything you need right there. We have used most of the stuff again already for a range of things. Money extremely well spent and would recommend it to everyone."

"We bought the birthing pool from you a few weeks ago and are happy to inform you that on December 10th, Jack Hendrik was born. A healthy beautiful 4 kg boy. We did have a home birth and did use the pool. Since it was my first pregnancy, I was (like many first timers) a little worried about the whole event, but it turned out to be one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives. Both myself and my husband have thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
I spent the last three hours of my labour in the water (I had a short 7 hour labour) and I felt comfortable and relaxed all the way through. The padded floor and high sides were so comfortable.... We want to thank you for the wonderful pool. It made the experience complete. The midwives were very impressed with the pool too.
I am definitely recommending using the H2 Oh baby! pool to everyone who is considering home birth and I can't thank you enough for making this day such a happy and memorable event."

"Firstly thanks for the pool, it was awesome and we haven't stopped raving about it to anyone who will listen. Theo was my best birth yet and that is in part thanks to the pool and tummy talk magazine! I was keen to use a birthing pool, having used water (shower and bath) for pain relief during our previous home births. The pool was super easy to set up, and we had it sitting around the house inflated but empty for about a week before it was needed. On the night it was a case of just add water!
Getting in the pool was amazing, it was comfortable to be in, easy to find a supportive position and of course took away gravity. The intensity of my contractions was significantly reduced. The warm water acted as very effective pain relief for me.
My Husband Hamish said he felt the pool provided a feeling of security, physically and emotionally.
I was able to totally relax during the second stage of labour (pushing) and we had our baby quickly and calmly. Our first water birth was a sensational experience."

"We never dreamed that we wouldn't have our third baby in a pool, she had other plans!! Just having the peace of mind that our pool was there when we needed it, helped me to relax. Even though we didn't get to use it for labouring or birthing (thanks to a 30 min labour), however it has been used many times since with the whole family in it filled with warm water, under the stars and the children now using it as a swimming pool. The strainer is great not only for catching moths, but also for scooping the flies off the top of the paddling pool!"

"Last Sunday I gave birth in one of your pools to our second daughter. I am very happy with the experience. The sides are nice and soft to lean on both for me and people around it. The pool is nice n easy to get into and out of. We had the pool blown up weeks before and it was easy to move it out of the way. The pictures are quite funny too, you see me there labouring away with the bright fish in the background. I am quite tall (1.80 m) and had plenty of space in the pool. All in all a good experience and good value for money."

"The birth pool felt like a natural thing to have while in labour - it helped with the pain as I didn't need any pain relief for as long as I was under water, and I could assume any position that my body wanted to easily, without adding the burden of gravity to that of labour! The pack contained everything we needed and the service was great. Even if you just use the pool for labouring, it's worth it!!"

"Ezekiel was born at home without any pain relief, other than the pool! I wasn't planning on a water birth, but once I got in the pool there was no getting me out!
The water was fantastic for relieving the pressure. You were right, I did enjoy birth. Thank You, I will definitely be recommending your kit to my pregnant friends in the future."

"Water was a wonderful resource for our son Jacob's birth, giving me privacy in labour and soothing me in birth. Water immersion in labour can be an excellent alternative to conventional forms of pain relief. Waterbirth provides a safe, satisfying and gentle start for mother and baby. With a product such as H2 Oh Baby! now available, I would hope that many more women can experience the ecstasy and fulfillment a gentle birth brings."

"I have used a birthpool twice. With my first labour it was still the old version, which was great for painrelief, but not as comfortable to sit in or as easy to put up as H2 Oh Baby. Three months ago I used this new version. It has got a comfortable wide edge which was great to rest your arms and head on, and easy for midwife and husband. It was very quick to set up (20 min?) and deflate.
I picked up the kit a few weeks before I was due and carried it in my car for the last week. We set it up as soon as we got to the hospital, and it was deflated+cleaned before I even had a shower. I never needed any painrelief, had relatively easy births, and would recommend H2 Oh Baby to anyone!
The good thing about buying the pool is that you end up with a very colourfull paddlingpool and a great pump. I'm looking forward to the summer to have a splash with our beautiful baby Thomas!"

"Just a quick note to let you know that the pool and all the accessories were fantastic.
We did a test run just popping a very small amount of water in it and after giving our almost 3yr old instructions that it was mummys pool first then his ... as soon as we turned our back he had clothes off and was in!
Using it for the birth of our little daughter Dhana was absolutely fantastic. No probs filling and keeping hot. Got in around 7cm dilated and rest of labour progressed very quickly and actually ended up having a water birth - not really by planning - more that I didn't want to get out.
And then it was time for another child... After our fantastic experience with the H2 Oh Baby! pool for the birth of our 2nd child, we had it filled again ready for action for our pending 3rd. However wee Jamie was in a hurry to make an appearance so we didn't quite get time to use the pool.. actually it was quite funny once the midwife arrived 15 minutes late and got me and the baby sorted out in bed etc. The other 2 kids were jumping around in the pool at the foot of the bed!

"The Birthing pool was a huge success. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl 8lb 5oz in the pool, the combination of the water and hot towels reduced the pain somewhat and helped to relax a little. Thankyou and I will recomend it to others."

"Using the pool was an amazing experience for myself and my husband.
Myself - I wished I could have done this with my first two. My first boy was a horrible labour with an emergency C-Section, my waters broke early hours Saturday morning and no baby until Monday. My second baby girl Brooke, I didn't have time to get in the pool as I had to go to the hospital and they didn't have time to fill the pool. But with Reefe and being in the pool I had no tearing or grazing and it was gentle on my baby as I've had back issues - due to pregnancy and childbirth.
Dave - was the best birth for him as nothing was a rush and he had more time to chill with me and the kids. He did the filling of the water and made morning tea for the midwives. LOL. He'd do it again.
Kids - loved being in the pool and felt really a part of it. They couldn't believe there was a swimming pool inside their house! Their laughter kept my mind off the pain. They had stories, prezzies from grandparents, went for a walk and arrived just as the last push and baby Reefe was born. They kissed and loved me and baby Reeffe and the pool made the room a calmer and peaceful place for everyone. The experience for them and remembering the birth was peaceful and pleasant even though mum was in pain. It looked and felt so different than being in a hospital room. My girl will grow up knowing that childbirth is OK for her too.
Midwife - was her first water birth and she was on cloud 9 for a week. She couldn't believe her first water birth was the most perfect birth she had had.
By 7.30 we were sitting on the couch watching TV with ALL the kids in bed and couldn't believe we had just had a baby that day! Now I am considering if I could have one more after such a great experience - Thank you!"

"I loved feeling water movement around uterus during contractions. Hot water was flowing, it felt nice. Also this pool is very comfortable and I loved spending time in it with my baby after the birth. My midwife like being able to see through the pool walls.
After Noah's birth I didn't feel I got to relax and enjoy him much at all, it was an hour before I was allowed to try and feed him despite me asking straight away and I personally didn't feel cared for in the slightest. I was sore and dirty but nobody wanted to help me get an ice pack and I had to make do with a cool 2 minute shower. The relaxing time after the birth in the pool and at home was beautiful; I loved being allowed to enjoy Hannah and what we'd achieved. This time was so cathartic for me, it allowed me to claim the quiet time which I'd been yearning for since I had Noah and I felt that this relaxing time was for both my children and for me. This was the most beautiful, rewarding and satisfying experience of my life"
