• Ordering is done on line – payment by on-line banking (account detais are on the invoice created once an order is placed). Cheques are accepted but there is no credit card facility. If affording the payment is difficult, we are open to arranging gradual payments with an initial deposit on a case by case basis. 

• Once payment is cleared the kit is delivered overnight to N.I. residential addresses and within 3 days to S.I. (Saturday deliveries can be arranged but have a heavy surcharge!) Rural delivery is an extra $5 and can often be difficult and take ages – we recommend finding a residential address! We use Fastway couriers and tracking numbers can be provided if required.
  

• The kit includes all that is needed for set up, filling, retaining heat and emptying at home

• Submersible pumps for faster emptying are available for $65 (likely to go up soon unfortunately) these are great not only for start stop labours, but also for emptying the pool all summer into the garden

• Hose connects to the back of the washing machine. Rubber tap adapters, and a new converter fitting most in home taps are available for other tap options. Check the product section.  Longer hose (up to 30m) can be ordered at $4 per meter extra on top of the 10m provided

• Pools can be carefully inflated with a compressor – taken until the wrinkles in the rings are nearly absent and topped up with a hand pump to perfect tightness. If a ring bursts using a compressor we are sorry, but cannot replace free of charge. User beware.

• Pools can be used prior to going into labour – to practice set up and timing and positioning of pool etc. and enjoyed as an anticipatory spa, or a relaxing cooling down on a hot day. They MUST be wiped out completely and left to dry 100% before packing down. Wiping with a mild disinfectant wipe prior to its intended use, and leaving outside on a sunny day should do the trick.

• If a kit is paid for and received but remains untouched we will refund the cost of the kit fully less a $25 admin fee and the courier costs.

• If a kit is opened and practiced with but not used for its initial intended purpose, we cannot refund. We cannot on sell it obviously. We trust it is bought with the knowledge that it has other valid and functional uses which will be enjoyed anyway, and that it is as cheap as we can make it to ensure business remains viable.

• If a pool is faulty (the biggest downer of the business!!!) which 5% currently are, we endeavour to sort the issue immediately at our own cost. There are spare pools at a depot in Remuera, Auckland and Fendalton, Chch. For faster dispatch or collection. Because the pool has 5 separate chambers, usually its use can be continued in an emergency situation. Try this before giving up fully, if we are unable to get a replacement delivered in time.

• We hold repair patches and give them out free of charge as required. We believe it is important to monitor any weaknesses and don't want people repairing when they deserve a new pool.

• We include a very detailed booklet with every kit and expect it to be read fully before set up even begins. This would save a lot of needless tension if this was done consistently! We expect anyone sharing the pool to take responsibility for ensuring this info is shared.

• Feedback is optional, but is included in every kit and then if not received, is pro actively followed up by us sometime after the 3month post due-date is reached. We would really value hearing of any difficult situations wherein the receiving of a feedback form would cause unnecessary anguish and hurt. We would LOVE feedback from our paid professionals too!

• We operate from home in a 'shed' amongst many kids and friends in N.P. We welcome any comment, involvement, suggestions at anytime. We also are happy to come and discuss with a group of you anything you wish to discuss or share or learn anything to do with water labour/birth from a lay perspective.

• Many women have started sharing pool kits. Personally, if this is what they choose to do, that is their call. It is however vital that they do this safely. The booklet must be passed on, the hose and pool in particular must have been left completely dry ensuring NO bacterial build up, and they must understand that any terms and conditions initially accepted do not apply to their usage as well.
