The Pool (external length 191cm, external width 178cm, height 61cm)

• The 3-chambered pool is internally circular and externally hexagonal. At full capacity, the pool holds 400-500 litres of water.
• With the pool fully inflated, a person up to 89kq is able to fully sit on the side without collapsing it.  Water will naturally be lost over the edge however, if filled too high, or excessive weight is placed on the sides.
• Inflated and tipped upside down, the pool is a lovely height off the floor for the baby not yet rolling, fun to have a gentle baby bounce on while safely encircled by the bottom ring!
• Pool makes a fantastic soft, padded playpen for the littlest adventurer, or the big one needing some safe play space. Fill it with a blanket and soft toys for your little wriggler, or let the big sister in there to play with her little beads or marbles, otherwise eaten by the wee crawling one.
• The best paddling pool* – easily filled for heaps of summer fun – great filled with bath toys and soap for summer bath time, for lots of friends.  Tough enough to handle the boisterous ones all summer, and easy to clean and pack away for next     summer.
• Inflated and tipped upside down, the pool is a lovely height off the floor for the baby not yet rolling, encircled by the bottom ring, and fun to have a gentle baby bounce on! Great for weightless relating for the pregnant mum too!

Heat Retention Cover (135cm x 210cm aluminised non-stretch polyester)

• Retains the heat of the pool once filled.
• Pack in daypack when tramping, or keep in the glove box of your car for keeping warm in those unexpected emergencies - wind and waterproof, reflects body heat.

Ground Protector (3m x 4m black polythene sheet)

• Protects the floor under and around the pool for any overflow.  
• Fantastic water slide – simply add hose, a few drops of detergent or soap, and some energetic kids.
• Serves as a make-shift cover to keep leaves and bugs off between swims, keeps it warm and when tucked tightly under a filled pool, and it also means that the curious toddler won't hop in without a lot of determination or help.

Hose Fittings (Aqua Star hose connector and tap nut)

• Connects to both one end of the filling hose, and then directly onto your washing machine tap.
• Always great for a spare for your own garden hose.

Filling and Emptying Hose (clear, non-toxic 10m x 16mm food-grade hosing)

• Used to both fill and empty your pool.
• Good for making elephant noises to entertain the kids????
• Punch holes in the hose and you have the best sprinkler for kids to run through on the way to leaping in the pool!

Long Handled Strainer

• Used to Scoop out any 'floaties' during the labouring and birthing processes
• The perfect kids' butterfly net for capturing white butterflies who love to eat your cabbages!
• Scoops off the creatures and leaves from the top of the pool before you dive in again

Floating Thermometer

• Used to check water temperature, at the time of birthing, to help ensure the water is as close to the baby’s environment as possible – i.e. 37.5 degrees.
• May be then used to test the baby’s bath temperature, until you feel confident as to what the correct temperature should feel like.
• Likely to become one of your child’s favourite bath toys!

Hand Pump         

• Pumps up the pool easily, taking up to 30 minutes depending upon the strength and endurance of the 'pumper'.
• Perfect for pumping up the pool for use again - ready for the summer splashes, or to take camping for the air bed.

Large Heavy-duty Carrier Bag (66cm x 100cm)

• Convenient and durable way to keep everything together until you need it. 
• Great for storing balls, duplo sets, dress ups, or the paddling pool for the winter.

Submersible Emptying Pump – OPTIONAL Not included in standard kit
Fully submersible, powerful and adjustable, this pump speeds up emptying and eliminates any possible technical misadventure issues of siphoning!  Great for those false runs of labour – making emptying no big deal. 

Also once the baby is born, the contents of the pool, once predominantly strained, can be emptied directly onto the garden, providing fantastic fertiliser!  Note that the pump is not designed to be submerged in water hotter than 35 degrees Celsius.

During the summer months, the water needs to be drained regularly, both for safety and to prevent the water and pool going green!  At our own risk, we use the pump to direct the emptied water into our garden, to prevent the flooding in one spot and because it is so easy to do, it means it gets done!  The pump is efficient, however, must be used with great caution outdoors, as it does not have a 10m cable. 

Rubber Tap Adaptor – OPTIONAL Not included in standard kit
This is an alternative to the hose fittings, but is much less ideal, and more difficult to attach to the hose (requiring hose clamps and often duct tape).  Once attached to the hose, the flow is also less than the hose fittings included in the kit.  However, it means you can push it onto most taps, including one with a mixer unit, reducing the fiddle of having to switch the hose from hot to cold.  If you do not have a washing machine inlet accessible within 10m of the pool set up, this may be your answer.

A comprehensive, easy to follow essential part of the kit. Covers benefits & precautions, hot tips, step by step instructions of how & when to use each component, and an extra section specifically for hospital usage.

As this is the only product in the kit, which you will not use again it comes in a reply paid envelope for you to return to us, when your feet are on the ground again!

As the consumer of this H2 Oh Baby! pool and kit I understand that all swimming pools including inflatable pool, less than 1.2 m above the ground and with a water depth exceeding 400mm are required to be fenced in accordance with the Fencing Of Swimming Pools Act 1987.
When not in use this pool should be emptied.

Ensure that the pool is set up on a structurally sound area.  Once filled, the pool may weigh up to 900kg; therefore it cannot be moved and must be appropriately supported.  Check it is over sound piles!  NEVER use a pool on an upstairs level, without confirming the safety first.

Obviously, babies and children should never be left unsupervised when using any of these items.
